The Amy St Reserve is essentially a small park on the side of a hill in the suburb of West Moonah. The track is fairly short, looping around the edge of the park for a distance of 1 km/0.6 mi.
I wouldn’t recommend it for the sake of somewhere to walk or ride, unless you were a local with a dog. That said, like many simple hillsides in Hobart, there are expansive views of the Derwent River and Hobart surrounds. They aren’t the easiest views to reach, nor the best available, but they are there.
How to get there
The front entrance is at 99 Amy St, in West Moonah, however, assuming you were arriving by car, the easiest place to park would be at the end of nearby Eleventh St, which meets the track by the bottom.
